APPLICATION PREPARATION AND USE

Preparation of the drug for application:

The required amount of drug is slurried in a separate container with a little water first. It is added to the spraying tank filled with water until half and mixed and completed with water. Spraying should be done in the morning or in the evening when the weather is not very hot.

Usage of the drug:

It is diluted with 20 times water and applied around the stem of the plant and irrigation is done from behind. Spraying is repeated 3 times with an interval of 3 months.

Spraying: In the circuit where the above ground parts are 3-4 leaves
Spraying: In the circuit where the first banana comb is formed
Spraying: It should be done in the circuits where the bunch of fruit occurs.
To prevent the resistance that nematodes can form, NORTHSTAR 40 EC should only be used in one of the applications, other sprayings should be done with other licensed nematode drugs.

In Citrus Gardens; Based on the green projection of the tree, the amount of medicine to hit here is given to the soil surface around the tree, slightly hoeing and watered from behind. Application should be carried out in the spring, when young shoots begin to appear.

In Citrus Nurseries; The required amount of drug is given to the soil surface with a strainer bucket. It is slightly hoeed, watered from behind. While transplanting citrus seedlings, immersed in prepared medicated water for 30 minutes.

Domeates (Greenhouse);

By measuring (calibration), the amount of water to go to a certain area is found. The amount of drug going to a certain area is calculated and mixed with this water and given to the soil with a strainer bucket. It is then mixed with the rotator or other processing tools into the ground; the water is allowed to penetrate the soil 15-20 cm.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE

The plant protection product named NORTHSTAR 40 EC is a Nematicide classified as Group 1B according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action promote resistance development. For this reason, in order to delay resistance development, do not exceed total application number of NORTHSTAR 40 EC in the same season. In cases where the application should be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with a different mechanism of action (other than Group 1B).

MIXTURE STATUS

It is not mixed with other drugs.

• Read the label first.
• Do not use at home
• Keep away from children, food and animal feeds.
• Use a mask, protective suit, gloves and goggles.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke during the application of the plant protection product.
• Do not let people and animals enter the field for 1 day.
• To prevent risks to human and environmental health, use as recommended and at the recommended dosage.

SHAKE WELL BY PUTTING CLEAN WATER UP TO ¼ OF THE EMPTY PACKAGES OF THE USED PRODUCT. PURCHASE THE SHAKING WATER TO THE DRUG TANK. REPEAT THIS OPERATION 3 TIMES.
It is strictly forbidden to use other than the recommended products.

POISONING SYMPTOMS

Nausea, drooling, tears, blurred vision, narrowing of the eyeballs, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, sweating, vomiting.

FIRST AID MEASURES

In case of Skin Contact; See Precautionary Statements (P303 + P361 + P353)

In Eye Contact; See: Precautionary Statements (P305 + P351 + P338)

In case of inhalation; Move to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, apply artificial respiration. Call an ambulance. Call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

If Swallowed; Call a doctor or Poison Control Center immediately. Rinse mouth and give a small sip of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by a doctor or poison control center. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not leave the victim unattended.

ANTIDOTE and TREATMENT

Apply high therapeutic doses of atropine sulfate. If necessary, repeat to the point of tolerance.

MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN USING AND STORING

• It is poisonous to bees, birds and fish.
• Do not infect the streams.
• Do not use it near groundwater and drinking water sources.
• Dispose of empty drug packages.
• Do not apply with back sprayer.
• Wear rubber gloves, boots, and protective clothing while preparing and applying the medicine.

STORAGE STATUS

When stored under normal (cool and dry) conditions, there is no change in the physical, chemical and biological properties of the drug for 2 years outside the tolerance limits.
