Explanation
PREPARATION OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT FOR APPLICATION
The plant protection product calculated over the recommended dosage is first mixed with some water in a separate container. The application machine tank is half filled with water. While the mixer of the machine is running, the mixture is added to the tank. The mixing is continued and the tank is completed with water. Mixing process continues until the application is completed. Use the prepared plant protection product on the same day.
Calibration
Calibration of the application machine should be done before the application.
Mixing amount should be adjusted to provide a good coating in applications. Applications should be done in cool hours of the day in windless or less windy weather conditions.
CLEANING OF THE SPRAYING MACHINE
Empty the sprayer tank safely immediately after the application is completed. After filling the tank with clean water, run the mixer and spray system to ensure that all parts are washed. Do not wash near water sources. Do not pour the washing water and waste into water sources.
HOW TO USE THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT:
Ornamental Plants - Gallery: Spraying is started as soon as the first gallery signs are seen. If necessary, spraying can be repeated. There must be a minimum of 7 days between two sprayings.
Tomatoes, Pepper, Cucumber, Eggplant-Red Spiders: In tomatoes and peppers, spraying should be done when an average of 3 live individuals per leaf is seen on 20 leaves, and on cucumber and eggplant, an average of 5 live individuals per leaf is seen.
Cotton-Red Spider: Controls are made when the plants are 4-6 leaves in order to determine the fighting time. If the pest is found only locally or in the field, only these parts should be treated. Spraying should be done when 5 live red spiders are seen in the average Mediterranean Region per leaf and 10 live in the Aegean and South Eastern Anatolia Region.
Strawberry- Red Spider: Early application: When the red spiders are seen in the strawberry fields, flower and green fruit period (before the first ripe fruits are seen), single spraying is done. Early application is safer in terms of leaving no residue on fruits.
Seasonal application: In cases where early application is not made, the strawberries grown in the open field are checked at the beginning of the season (late March-early April) with an interval of 3-5 days. Red spiders are seen in the surrounding plants at the beginning of the season in strawberries. First of all, it is sufficient to control and medicate these plants. If the population is widespread, at least 50 leaflets are examined from the middle and lower parts of the plants to represent the field. If 15 or more red spider is detected per leaflet, it is decided to apply. Spraying is done immediately after fruit collection. Harvest should be done by paying attention to the time between the last spraying and harvest.
INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE
The plant protection product named MASSMECTIN is an insecticide - acaricide classified as Group 6 according to the mechanism of action. Repetitive applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action promote resistance development. For this reason, to delay developing resistance, do not exceed total application number of MASSMECTIN in the same season. In cases where the application should be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with a different mechanism of action (except for Group 6).
MIXTURE STATUS
Mixing with other plant protection products should be tried beforehand. It does not mix with alkaline reaction plant protection products.
