AVANTİ EC

GENERAL INFORMATION:

- AVANTİ EC emulsion concentrate is a stomach and touch effective insecticide used in combating pests in cotton and nuts in its formulation. It is effective in every period of pest larvae and adult of hazelnut pest.

- AVANTI EC acts on insects by blocking sodium channels in nerve cells, and the nutrition and other activities of pests stop or decrease very shortly after application. Pests die within 24 to 60 hours.

- AVANTI EC is not affected by the precipitation after drying of the plant protection product on the plant after application, there is no need to repeat the application.

PREPARATION OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT FOR APPLICATION:

The plant protection product calculated over the recommended dosage is first mixed with some water in a separate container. The tank of the application machine is half filled with water. While the mixer of the machine is running, the mixture is added to the tank. The mixing is continued and the tank is completed with water. Mixing process continues until the application is completed. Use the prepared mixture on the same day.

HOW TO USE THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT

All plants with a row length of 3 m randomly selected against cotton greenwort are checked, and the eggs and larvae of Yeşilkurt are counted and it is decided to apply when there are an average of 2 larvae of 3 m row length.

Against cotton leafworm in cotton, the leaves, combs, flowers and cocoons of a total of 25 plants are checked, one in 10-15 steps. Application is decided when 0.5 larvae per plant or 2 egg packs or 25 newly opened egg packs are seen per plant.

The application is made in case of more than 2 hazelnut worm on the 10th of January in the controls carried out in the period when the fruits reach lentil size against the hazelnut wolf.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named AVANTI EC is an insecticide classified as Group 22A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action promote resistance development. For this reason, to delay developing resistance, do not exceed total application number of AVANTİ EC in the same production season. In cases where the application should be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with a different mechanism of action (other than Group 22A).

Alternating use of insecticides with other mechanism of action or mixing tanks with such plant protection products delays or prevents the pest from gaining resistance.

Indoxacarb, which is the active ingredient of AVANTI EC, has a new and different effect, and application of this plant protection product in areas where insects are resistant is very suitable for delaying or preventing resistance. If necessary, use AVANTI EC alternately with carbamate, synthetic pyrethroid organic phosphors or insecticides from the acyl urea group. Apply when pests reach the level of economic loss by monitoring the pest density. If the density is high, more than one application should be made for one offspring. For AVANTI EC applications, always follow the recommendations regarding the dose, application interval and timing on the label. The high efficacy of AVANTI EC active ingredient Indoxacarb for many beneficial insects will create an advantageous situation in suppressing pests and will also be beneficial in preventing these pests from becoming resistant to plant protection products.

Do not apply more than 4 cotton and 1 more hazelnut in the same place during the season with AVANTI EC.
